The NATURE PROGRAM uses the forest, rocks, stream, and wildlife on the grounds to teach ecological awareness and appreciation for the natural world.

The Miquon Day Camp shares the campus of the Miquon School. Located in rural Whitemarsh Township in a protected 10-acre wooded valley, we offer a unique rustic setting convenient to many neighborhoods. Bunks are in kid-scale buildings that provide a home base and rainy day retreat.

Over the years, children have delighted in our butterfly gardens, begun and maintained by Miquon School parents. In 1998, the school built a bird observation building with bird-friendly plantings, thanks to a family gift. Our creek runs the length of the campus and has had a special fascination for Miquon children for over 65 years.

We provide transportation for children who live within our specific transportation areas. Campers are transported to and from camp using school buses and vans.  Depending upon the location of your home, pick-up/drop-off may be at the camper’s home, a nearby corner, or central location.
